Hamilton: 'I'm going to keep going until I get my eighth world title'

It is sometimes difficult to find out how Formula 1 drivers really think about others in the paddock or about certain situations. Yet Lewis Hamilton dares to take a lie detector test in front of Sky Sports F1 and in doing so reveals some intriguing and also accurate information.
The video is eight minutes long and mostly consists of short questions to which Hamilton has to answer yes or no. Occasionally, however, the answers are provided with a further explanation by him.
Not done with F1 yet
Hamilton's questions include who has been his favourite teammate. When asked if this is Fernando Alonso, he answers no and the detector indicates that this is indeed not a lie, although this will not come as a surprise to many. The seven-time world champion does, however, praise Valtteri Bottas:
“Valtteri. He was just fun, we had a lot of fun over the years and there was a real comradery. Even though he wanted to beat me it was just the respect we always had. There were never any games between us, you know. It was just straight on, we traveled together and we just built a really good friendship.”
The lie detector indicates that Hamilton's words, which read that the Finn was his favourite teammate, are true. Another interesting topic raised is whether Hamilton is already bored of F1. Although the test shows that he enjoys his holidays more than working, it is also the case that the Brit is definitely not bored of the sport yet.
Perhaps the most interesting and acccurate statement Hamilton makes is that he will continue until he gets his eighth world title in. Mercedes has not been doing so well since last year and there has been much speculation about Hamilton's possible departure from the sport. However, the driver is very clear about the fact that he will stay for a while.
