Lewis Hamilton is of course known as the most successful F1 driver in history, but outside of Formula 1, the Brit has other big plans. For instance, he plans to go to space one day; Elon Musk is the man to help Hamilton with that.
It is common knowledge that the seven-time world champion is not just into F1, but also into many other things. For instance, he already rode a MotoGP bike once and now he has said he plans to go to space one day.
Hamilton to space
Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla and SpaceX, among others, is the man to take Hamilton to space. Speaking at an official F1 fan event over the weekend in Australia, the Briton said he is in touch with Musk more often. "Elon’s been to my party in Austin the last two years. Of course, I talked to him about did we land on the Moon? Where are we going next?"
"I am going, yes, at some stage, but I’ll let some other people go first because those things blow up on the way up. He’s talking about going to Mars, but I’m ready to go to space at any stage," said the Mercedes driver.
