'Free practice is pointless anyway because you can't adjust anything'

Guenther Steiner did not mince his words when previewing the Baku Grand Prix, it appears. The Haas team boss said he is absolutely in favour of the new format. He said he thinks the second free practice is pretty pointless anyway, as you are not allowed to adjust anything there.
Besides Kevin Magnussen, his team boss has now also seen the changes as positive. "A second qualifying is a lot better for the fans and also for us as it gives you excitement. We’ve got a lot of things going on at the weekend, two qualifying sessions and two races, and I think that’s great for the sport," said the team boss in Haas' preview of the new Grand Prix.
"I definitely prefer the new set-up because Saturday morning practice is pretty pointless as you couldn’t change anything on the car, you just went out there, did laps and tried to understand the tyres," Steiner said.
