Windsor sees Perez win: 'Even without safety car he would have won'

Following Sergio Perez's glorious victory in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku, Peter Windsor has posted on his YouTube channel analysis of Sunday afternoon's race. He sees an unleashed Perez racing well to stay ahead of Max Verstappen.
The 71-year-old Formula One journalist thinks the Mexican has delivered a very handsome performance, he said, "A fabulous amazing win for Sergio Perez because he had to beat Max Verstappen in a Red Bull RB19. I think he might’ve won that race even without the intervention of a safety car."
For Verstappen, it was all less enjoyable. The Dutchman saw the 33-year-old driver take the 25 points again. "If you are Verstappen, you don't want to finish second after Perez [In Monaco]. It's a prestigious race, but it could well happen," Windsor said in the explainer video.
