Toto Wolff's successes with Mercedes in Formula 1 have made the Austrian's leadership style stand out. The Mercedes team boss will become a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School next year, giving a course on his own leadership.
Wolff will teach first and second-year MBA students. Once a talented racing driver, Wolff focused on investing and eventually became Mercedes' main man in Formula 1 for the past decade. The seven drivers' titles and eight constructors' titles Wolff won during those years stood out at Harvard.

Harvard professor Anita Elberse followed Wolff during the 2021 F1 season and analysed Wolff's leadership style. It became a case study called: Toto Wolff and the Mercedes Formula One team. Together, Wolff and Elberse wrote a scholarly article from it, in which Elberse draws six lessons from Wolff's leadership philosophy.
In 2024, the pair will start offering a study course at Harvard Business School. Wolff said in a press statement: "I feel very honored and privileged to continue working with the incredibly bright young minds at Harvard. Whenever I step on campus, I am inspired by the students’ curiosity and ambition,"
