Red Bull team boss Horner: 'You don't see other teams doing this'

At a special event in Miami, Red Bull Racing has presented the livery of the car Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will drive at this weekend's Grand Prix. It is the first of three temporary designs this season.
During the launch of the RB19 early this year, Red Bull announced a competition called 'Make Your Mark', in which the idea is for fans to use their creativity to put their own livery on paper. The Grand Prix in Miami is the first of the three US races in which Red Bull will run with a custom livery. It was previously announced that fans may also send in designs for Austin and Las Vegas. The design for Miami was created by an Argentinian student named Martina Andriano.
Involving fans in the team
Team boss Christian Horner, in a press release from his team, reacted excitedly to the temporary livery. "The Make Your Mark initiative is great, to give our fans the opportunity to influence our design at the three USA races is something you just don’t see other teams doing. It’s important to the Team to be able to involve our fans in what we do and give them unique opportunities like this. I think Martina, has done a great job and the livery looks incredible when you see it in real life. The design keeps the ethos of who we are but introduces Miami to the RB19 as well. We are definitely going to stand out when you see that car on track. I’m intrigued to see what people come up with for Austin and of course Las Vegas, that promises to be really exciting."
This is not the first time Red Bull has had a special livery, although it is rare. Only six times before has the team deviated from the regular design.
