The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix does not seem to be in danger. The region has been ravaged by a storm, but the circuit informs that there has been no damage there.
Storm in Emilia-Romagna
The region where the Imola GP also takes place had to contend with extreme rainfall in recent days. Due to the storm, two people died and one person is also missing. The havoc at home also did something to AlphaTauri, which released a statement about the storm.
Although the Imola circuit is also in this region, a spokesperson for the circuit was able to report that the race was not in danger. According to PlanetF1, the storm had no impact on the circuit, so it should also not affect whether or not the GP goes ahead. The race is scheduled in a fortnight' time on the weekend of 19-21 May.
