Yuki Tsunoda is having an excellent season at AlphaTauri for now. With a disappointing car, the Japanese manages to compete for points every week. While Tost and Horner both acknowledge that he needs another year with at sister team, Tost sees opportunities for his pupil, he told during the press conference in Miami.
"Yuki doesn't need good words. He is fast, he has done a fantastic job in the last two years," the AlphaTauri team boss sounds positive. With three 11th places and two points finishes, Tsunoda is showing his pace every week, being faster than teammate Nyck de Vries. For now, the Dutchman is having a very difficult time alongside the 22-year-old Japanese.
