Results qualifying Formula 2 | Bearman on pole ahead of Enzo Fittipaldi
Formula 2 qualifying was run on Friday afternoon and Oliver Bearman put himself in pole position. The Prema driver clocked a 1:23.546, a time too powerful for the rest of the field, and finished 0.077 seconds ahead of Carlin driver Enzo Fittipaldi and Jack Doohan.
Bearman is joined on the front row of the grid by Enzo Fittipaldi. The Brazilian Carlin driver conceded just under eight hundredths. The second starting row consists of Jack Doohan and Ayumu Iwasa. Alfa Romeo junior Theo Pourchaire, the number two in the F2 standings, drove the fifth time.
On Saturday, the sprint race is scheduled at 14:15 local time.
