Alpine driver Pierre Gasly is paying close attention to the weather conditions at next weekend's Canadian Grand Prix. On the Alpine website, Gasly explains why he thinks the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is such a beautiful circuit.
"It’s a really cool place to race, very fast with big braking zones and quick corners. I’ve been preparing in the simulator in Enstone, everything feels good and I’m looking forward to being on track on Friday," Gasly said.
Rain during Canadian GP?
Next weekend there is a good chance of rain at the track in Canada. During the Monaco Grand Prix, we saw how Alpine was able to cope with the rain. Who knows, maybe the French team can repeat this next weekend is another French-speaking country.
"The weather does look interesting – rain is likely – so we’ll remain ready for all conditions and see what we can achieve. In addition, Montréal in general is a very fun place to be, especially as it’s a French-speaking city," Gasly stated.
