A lot of rain was predicted ahead of the weekend in Canada. On Friday, the second free practice session already ended with a huge shower. Rain is also scheduled for Saturday, while the race looks set to be dry.

Lots of rain in Canada on Saturday

Rain is forecast all day in Montreal for Saturday by Weather.com. Between seven in the morning and seven in the evening, the chance of rain is no lower than 80 per cent, making it very likely that qualifying will take place in rainy conditions like last year.

Race in Canada likely to be dry

During the night from Saturday to Sunday, it will be dry in Montreal. The chance of rain on Sunday during the race is about 15 per cent, so it seems likely to remain dry. When the race starts at 14:00 local time, it will still be cloudy, but as the race progresses, the sun will also appear from time to time.
