Legendary racing suit Verstappen from the Canadian GP to be auctioned off
Max Verstappen once again won convincingly last race. For the Dutchman, it marked his 41st victory in Formula 1. The Red Bull driver's racing suit is up for auction. The winner of the racing suit may immediately start a fun conversation with Verstappen himself, as the winner will automatically get a meet & greet with the Dutchman.
Not only was it a unique race for Verstappen, but also for Red Bull itself. In Montreal, the team achieved its 100th victory in Formula 1. The highest bid for the Dutchman's racing suit stands at €5,000.
Verstappen hands it over himself
"Max will even hand over the signed racing suit himself at our Technology campus in Milton Keynes to the highest bidder," Christian Horner told a Red Bull Racing press release. " This suit has earned a place in the history books," he added.
Proceeds from the racing suit will go to Wings for Life. This is a non-profit organisation that organises a running competition. It was founded in 2004 by Dietrich Mateschitz, among others. You can join the auction at auction.f1authentics.com.
