Marko sees Perez and Verstappen in FP1 and FP2: 'Everything is right'
Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has seen Max Verstappen dominate during the first two free practice sessions at Silverstone but does not seem entirely comfortable with it just yet. The 80-year-old Austrian talks about the first two free practice sessions of Red Bull drivers Verstappen and Sergio Perez.
The dominance that Verstappen is showing this season was also present at the Silverstone circuit today. "It doesn't look bad with us. That one lap (by Verstappen) was certainly not optimal, but everything is right so far," Marko had Motorsport-Magazin note.
Marko on Mercedes, Williams and De Vries
"Mercedes did not drive at full power, in my opinion," Marko explained. Both Williams drivers were relatively close to Red Bull in the second free practice. Marko: " Let's see how much fuel they used; they will have been full on it."
The Austrian also commented on AlphaTauri driver De Vries earlier this weekend. The Dutchman is not performing as Red Bull initially hoped and seems to fear for his place.
