The Honey Badger is back: 'I'm getting my accent going'
Daniel Ricciardo is definitely back. A few days after announcing his contract until the end of the season at AlphaTauri, the Australian reported to his 'new' team. The welcome was most cordial, after which Ricciardo also addressed his fans for the first time.
Ricciardo learns Italian again
In a short video on his temporary employer's Twitter account - he is on loan from Red Bull Racing - Ricciardo says: "Ciao tutti. What's going on? I was greeted by a very nice 'Welcome back, Honey Badger'. It's been ten years since I was part of what was then Toro Roso, and now, of course, is Scuderia AlphaTauri. And I'm learning my Italian again, I'm getting my accent going, and it is my first day in Faenza. I had a very nice, warm welcome, and I'm happy to be here."
In a week's time, Ricciardo will be in action for the first time for his new team, which he was thus also part of at the start of his career. That is when the Hungarian Grand Prix will be held near Budapest.
