The Las Vegas Grand Prix (18 November) is fast approaching. Work on the track and future paddock is in full swing. This is causing inconvenience, a lot of inconveniences. Residents around the upcoming F1 circuit complain bitterly about the works. They are already taking into account that during the event there will be a huge chaos, according to dozens of comments on Reddit.

A major part of the work is replacing the asphalt. Soon, F1 drivers will be driving over it; locals have to detour mostly for now. A resident of the US city writes that living in Las Vegas at the moment is 'a nightmare'. "Most people in Vegas are pissed at F1 and how they're to charge everyone extra if they gave a view of the track at all."

The resident is joined on Reddit by someone who knows the area. This person reports, "There is no way this is going to be a pleasant experience for people in Vegas." Moreover, that person wonders why the Strip is being closed for Formula 1 only, and support series such as Formula 2 and Formula 3 are missing?

Another resident of the gambling city wonders if all the work will be finished in time at all. After all, in about three months, Formula 1 teams will already be arriving.

Looking at recent photos of the site, one is particularly struck by the fact that the buildings that will soon serve as pit boxes and paddock are still under construction. There is also nothing reminiscent of roads on some stretches. Indeed, large pipes that have yet to be put into the ground are on the side of the ground.
