Debate | Ferrari will break Red Bull's winning streak in home race Monza
Ferrari came out particularly well in front of the home crowd in Monza. In the second and third free practice sessions, Carlos Sainz was already the fastest man, and the Spaniard managed to finish Saturday with pole position at the expense of Max Verstappen. Can he cash in on this in the Scuderia's home race?
Can Ferrari break Red Bull's winning streak?
Sainz himself indicated that the opportunity is definitely there, but Red Bull will "realistically" be the team to beat. That has everything to do with the racing pace that the Austrian racing stable has shown throughout the season but also with tyre management, which the RB19 excels at.
Charles Leclerc concurred with his teammate's words. The Monegasque also sees opportunities, but at the same time, Leclerc realises that it will be difficult to beat Verstappen. Still, the Italian racing stable may be more motivated than ever to achieve that long-awaited victory and thus break the winning streak of Verstappen and Red Bull.
Will Ferrari manage to beat Verstappen in front of the frenzied Tifosi? And will it be Sainz or still Leclerc who manages to make things most difficult for the Dutchman during the race? Or will the team get the strategy wrong again? Let us know your expectations for the Formula 1 race in Monza.
