Verstappen shines light on Marko-Perez situation: 'Then it's done'
There may not have been a race in Formula 1 last week, but things were certainly not quiet around Red Bull Racing. Red Bull man Helmut Marko made striking statements about driver Sergio Perez. Lewis Hamilton already condemned these statements, but now Max Verstappen has also shed light on Marko's Perez comments.
"I don't think I'm the right person to educate Helmut. I think he quickly realised what he said and he apologised for it. And for me, then it's done," the reigning and two-time world champion told Sky Sports, who appears to be heading for his third Formula 1 world title.

The number-one driver in the car says that the chapter is closed as far as he is concerned. "When people realise they made a mistake and they correct it, for me, you move forward, and that is also exactly what we do as a team," Verstappen concluded.
Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull Racing already reacted to the statements of the 80-year-old man from Graz. Both sides disapproved of Marko's words without question. Click here to see how the Austrian racing stable reacted to the Red Bull adviser's words.
