The first day in the Singapore Grand Prix weekend was not quite Red Bull Racing's yet. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez finished in P7 and P8 during FP2. Formula 1 analyst Peter Windsor sees Red Bull's class, despite the fact that all was not so well on Friday.

"I thought the other interesting thing is that despite the car not being very good, Red Bull still stuck to their discipline," Windsor said in his YouTube video on his channel. "And that shows the quality of the team," the 71-year-old Englishman continues.

Windsor sees 'typical Red Bull'

"Even though this was probably the worst Friday they've had all year, they still went for it with the fuel runs," Windsor reveals. "And that's really impressive, I think, to see. That's typical Red Bull, how good they are," he concludes.

Verstappen himself was shocked by the gap what was between him and the number one on the timesheet of the second practice session. Carlos Sainz finished first there and Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc was second.
