Perez understands cause of Red Bull's problems in Singapore: 'We move on'
The whole weekend did not seem perfect for Red Bull Racing. Drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez could not make their mark at the Grand Prix in the Singapore city-state. Perez was driving his 250th Formula One race of his career. The Red Bull driver's race was nothing to write home about. He himself knows where the problem lies.
"It was not a great day for us, it was as tough as we expected it to be, we struggled all race and nothing really worked," the Mexican driver told reporters after the Singapore Grand Prix. " The safetycars came at the wrong time and it was similar to the VSCs, it just wasn't our day," he said.

"In the end we were on a different strategy to everyone else and that was the best we could do. I think we have plenty of things to investigate after this weekend and a lot to understand as a Team. I think the issues were circuit related and we should be stronger next weekend, let’s move on and look forward to Japan," the Red Bull driver concluded.
After the weekend in Singapore, the Formula One circus travels to Japan. At Circuit Suzuka, the Red Bull drivers will again do everything they can to climb the top step of the podium again.
