The championships in Formula 1 in 2023 have been decided. Red Bull and its superstar, Max Verstappen, will take the world title prizes at the FIA's awards gala. Former Formula 1 driver Jolyon Palmer tells Formula1.com that he thinks Max is unstoppable, along with his RB19.

2023 will go down in the books as a season in which the Dutchman and his team broke records. Red Bull has failed to win just one race this season, and Verstappen has broken the record for most consecutive wins, setting a run of 10 races.

Palmer on Verstappen's performance

Palmer is, therefore, impressed by the Dutchman's performance: "We all know that on his day, Max is unstoppable, particularly in combination with the RB19, but what is more astonishing is how he's not dropped the ball across the whole season in some seriously tricky situations."

"Winning Monaco in the pouring rain on slick tyres or controlling the race in Zandvoort amidst weather chaos were impressive. Add in numerous impressive pole laps when weather or yellow or red flags played their part. He's become a winning machine in a year where we've had plenty of circumstantial jeopardy. Even Singapore was a decent recovery for him on a day where strategy couldn't have played out any worse for Red Bull," the former F1 driver continued.
