Verstappen full of confidence after win in Brazil: 'That was important'
A good start for Max Verstappen gave him an immediate chance at the lead. Lando Norris left the door open and Verstappen immediately took advantage of that. After the race, Verstappen let us know how the race went in his eyes.
"It was important to get ahead of the start. The initial launch wasn't good then we got side by side and got ahead. Then we tried to get a constant lap time, and we managed to the end. For everyone out there, you can't push flat out," said Verstappen after the sprint race.

Asked if Verstappen was surprised by the level of tyre wear, the Dutchman said the following: ''No, last year it was also difficult for us here. Today it was much better. For everyone, it is the case that you cannot push full out. You have to control the tyres and I think we did that well.''
With victory in his pocket, confidence for Sunday's Grand Prix is also high: "I think we learned a lot during that race, and hopefully we can do something similar tomorrow."
