The Brazilian Grand Prix will start at 17:00 UK time. After the sprint race on Saturday, strategies for the main race will come into play. Pirelli has announced which tyre strategies they expect to be the fastest, and there are some eye-catching options among them.

Two-stopper for Brazil GP?

A two-stopper is the fastest according to Pirelli's predictions. There are two options for this. The first option is to start on soft, then pit for the medium tyre between laps 17 and 23, and then make a final stop to the soft between lap 46 and lap 52.

The second option for a two-stop strategy, is to start on the medium tyre. This should then be swapped between lap 20 and lap 26 for a new medium. Another stop will then have to be made between lap 48 and lap 54, to complete the final laps on the softs.

Alternative strategies Brazil GP

But there are also alternative strategies. For instance, it is also an option to start on soft, then change to medium, and then finish with two more stints on the red tyre. A one-stop is also possible: starting on medium and finishing on hard tyre is not the fastest option at first glance, but it might be an alternative strategy for drivers at the back of the grid.
