Make-over for Verstappen and Perez: Red Bull introduces Elvis look
- GPblog.com
Although Elvis Presley was not from Las Vegas, the singer is forever linked to the gambling city. Lookalikes of Elvis still walk the streets of Las Vegas every day, singing or not as the former teen idol. To honour the The King of Rock and Roll, Red Bull Racing has created special racing suits for Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.
Only during the Las Vegas Grand Prix - to be held Saturday night local time - will both drivers wear these racing overalls. Meanwhile, Red Bull showed off the suits via social media.

Horner: 'Elvis the icon of Las Vegas'
Christian Horner, Red Bull Racing's team boss, said of the temporary outfits: "As we gear up for the first ever Grand Prix in Las Vegas, it’s only fitting that we pay tribute to the most prolific Las Vegas icon, Elvis Presley. Elvis left his mark on Vegas and the world, becoming synonymous with the glitz, the flash, and the energy of the strip, something we are hoping to replicate as we take to the track on Saturday night."
