Ten years after Michael Schumacher's horrific accident, little is still known about the German. According to former teammate Johnny Herbert, he would even be at the dinner table. In an interview with bettingsites.co.uk, the Brit talks about what Schumacher's future would have looked like had he not had an accident.

Asked about what role Schumacher would put himself in after his career, Herbert believes taking over a team would be unlikely: "I don’t remember any talk of taking over a team. But knowing his character I would not have been surprised to see him jump into a role as a team principal at Mercedes for example and find a way of moving into the management side," the former driver said.

Schumacher and Lauda

"Would he have been good at it? Not all racing drivers have been," Herbert said. He continues: "Alain Prost was the prime example who never quite worked out when he had his team." Then Herbert turns to Niki Lauda: "Niki Lauda did it but only on the management side with Mercedes. Would he and Michael have worked well together? Actually I think yes. They would have had both the old school and new school experience. They would have had a big impact. I could have seen it work well together."
