Visa Cash App RB, or VCARB, have presented their F1 car for the 2024 Formula 1 season. In Las Vegas, the curtain lifted on Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda's car for the first time. Check out the latest car here.
VCARB start 2024 in a completely new guise. The team wants to be more part of the Red Bull family again and, above all, to be competitive. At the start of 2023, AlphaTauri were not, and so they had to change course. Nyck de Vries had to leave. Franz Tost also left at the end of the year as the team's team boss.
What's different at VCARB
Peter Bayer is the new CEO, and Laurent Mekies is the new team boss. The two make a move from the FIA and Ferrari, respectively. They did not stop there, however, as Red Bull also brought Tim Goss to the team as chief technical officer, along with deputy technical director Guillaume Cattelani. Alan Permane also starts as sporting director, after being sacked from Alpine in the middle of last year.
Still, the VCARB 01, as the new car is called, will mainly come from the hand of Jody Egginton. The VCARB technical director went to work on Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda's car and hopes to put down a much stronger package in 2024. The car is still ran by a Honda engine.
