Verstappen responds to Marko staying at Red Bull: 'Absolutely good news'
After qualifying for the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix, a new chapter in the Red Bull Racing saga seemed to be looming. After reports emerged of a possible suspension hanging over Marko's head, Verstappen immediately jumped to the defence of the Red Bull advisor. His words touched the 80-year-old Austrian, who in turn had nice words to say for the Dutchman.
Marko said he will be present at the Australian Grand Prix and that he will stay on at Red Bull Racing, although it is not clear whether a line has now actually been drawn. Asked by Sky Sports if it is good news that Marko is staying on, Verstappen replied briefly but firmly: "Absolutely."
