Verstappen pinpoints what Red Bull need to do: 'Need peace within the team'
Max Verstappen pulled off a dominant win in the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. As a result, the Red Bull Racing driver was little in the picture, unlike Ferrari debutant Oliver Bearman. Verstappen discusses the Briton's great performance and touches on what Red Bull needs to do in the coming weeks to keep calm within the team.
"Absolutely, that's fantastic," said Verstappen when asked about Bearman's impressive Grand Prix debut. "I had said to the team: if he finishes just outside the top six, so seventh, then you just do a really fantastic job. Really an excellent result for him."
Especially given the challenging nature of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, but Verstappen stressed that everything is new for the 18-year-old Briton this weekend. " You don't know the car at all, you go into the race for the first time - you can't make more of it, it's just really top notch," the three-time world champion continued.
Verstappen: 'We need peace'
Asked if there will be many talks at Red Bull in the coming week, the Dutchman replied: "Normally not. I think everyone who is important for the team was also here, most of them. I think everyone knows pretty clearly where everyone stands. We just need to have a bit of peace in the team and everyone knows that," concluded Verstappen.
