Thanks to the affair surrounding Christian Horner, it came to light that Red Bull GmbH is engaged in a power struggle. There are two camps and the two parties distrust each other. According to Bild, the Thai side has sent a relative to Red Bull's headquarters to constantly report on the company's affairs. This 'spy' is paying special attention to further settling the matter with Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner.

According to the German newspaper, the 'spy' has taken a close look at every department at Red Bull and is now at the company's headquarters in Salzburg. The Austrians fear that the Thai owner - who until recently always stayed in the background - is about to make sweeping changes. It is unclear exactly what.

'Thai Spy' not yet spotted at Red Bull Racing

The Red Bull Racing team is not based in Austria but in Milton Keynes, England. Apparently, the 'Thai Spy' has not yet visited the race team, but the newspaper does not rule out that this will still happen. Christian Horner is in charge of the F1 team of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. The Briton was accused by a female employee - now suspended - of inappropriate behaviour. A lawyer appointed and paid for by Red Bull's Thai side investigated the allegations last month. He or she concluded that Horner could not be blamed for the behaviour.

The woman is appealing the ruling with a new lawyer and filing a complaint with the FIA's ethics committee. The case will no doubt continue to fester in the coming period in Britain and certainly at Red Bull GmbH's headquarters in Austria.
