Verstappen worried about race: 'I'm not so sure about this'

Despite qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix on pole, Max Verstappen is not so sure about his chances of victory on Sunday. Red Bull Racing seemed to be having a (relatively) difficult weekend.
Both Max Verstappen and his teammate, Sergio Perez, indicated that the weekend in Australia was not as easy as the previous two weekends. Verstappen complained of understeer throughout all sessions. One problem that plays with Perez is keeping the tyres strong.
Verstappen not confident of victory
With a win streak of 10 in a row, it should almost be a given for Verstappen that he will also win the Australian Grand Prix. Yet the Dutchman himself is not so convinced of that. "We struggled all weekend to find the right balance. That is why it is still a bit difficult to estimate how we will keep the tyres alive tomorrow. This pole already feels a bit like a bonus. Heading into the race, I am less convinced of a victory than I was earlier in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia."
Nevertheless, as we are used to, the three-time world champion will still be pulling out all the stops to climb to the top step of the podium on Sunday. "Yes, we will definitely go for that, but I don't think it will be easy," the Dutchman told Dutch media in Australia.
