Full results FP2 | Verstappen not in action at Suzuka

There is still little to say about the differences between drivers and teams after the second free practice in Japan. Max Verstappen, like many other drivers, was not in action during FP2. The Dutchman was still the fastest during FP2, but the track was so wet that Verstappen was out of action during the second session of the weekend.

For the first 10 minutes of the second free practice session, no one could be found on the track at Suzuka. Then there was Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time world champion was the first driver to appear on the track. He was told it was raining, and so Hamilton dived inside. Daniel Ricciardo drove out at that point, but also quickly decided to dive back into the pit box.

During the rest of the second practice session, a few more drivers came out, including Valtteri Bottas, Guanyu Zhou and Yuki Tsunoda. Watch the results of the second practice session at Suzuka below.
