After just a few corners and a poor start for both VCARB drivers, the F1 drivers struggled with grip. With Lance Stroll on the inside and Albon trying to overtake, Ricciardo hit the Williams driver after which they both flew off the track. The red flag followed almost immediately and the race was stopped.
