The incident between Lance Stroll and Daniel Ricciardo during the Chinese Grand Prix is still on the agenda within Formula 1. The two drivers have not spoken since the accident claims Ricciardo.

The incident happened during a safety car. At the hairpin, drivers had to slow quickly. Stroll hit Ricciardo, after which the Australian had to retire from the race.

Stroll received a time penalty but was unaware of any wrongdoing. Ricciardo then became furious at the situation. The Visa Cash App RB driver could not believe that the Canadian could not see his own error. He said: "f*** that guy."

Meanwhile, the Miami Grand Prix is just around the corner, but Stroll and Ricciardo have still not spoken to each other. The latter no longer feels the need to do so either, he said ahead of the race weekend: "I feel it's [the conversation] not going to go anywhere."

Ricciardo continued: "If he texted just saying, ‘Yeah, you know, my bad, whatever’, okay, I can accept an apology. I'm not that much of an asshole. But the fact that there's not even that, I'm like, he clearly doesn't think he did anything wrong. So, I guess there's not much to say."
