Half an hour before the sprint race in Miami, there was already a notable moment in the pit lane. As Charles Leclerc was heading towards the end of the pit lane, Esteban Ocon wanted to try the same, but the Frenchman drove his car into Leclerc's blue-tinted SF-24. Not an ideal situation for Ocon either, as he was penalised for this action.

Leclerc was hugely shocked by Ocon's action, and was not amused. The Monegasque driver explained over the board radio: "The man was completely asleep. I don't know who that was, but I think even the mechanic told him to stop." For Ocon himself, the incident did not turn out well at all either, with the Alpine driver having to immediately put a new front wing on his car even before the sprint race had started.

That was not all, as Ocon also received a 10-second penalty from the stewards for this action in the pit lane on Leclerc. Watch below how Ocon's torpedo action on Leclerc went.
