Penalties may be handed out at the end of the second free practice session for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc have to report to the FIA stewards for an incident during the session, while Yuki Tsunoda has to answer for a possibly illegal test start.

Perez, Leclerc and Tsunoda are being examined by stewards

Leclerc and Perez ran into each other in the second free practice session, with the latter getting in the Ferrari driver's way considerably for a couple of corners. This led to Leclerc's surprise: "What the ****?!", he said over the radio, before passing Perez. The Red Bull Racing driver was unaware of any wrongdoing and wondered "what was bothering the Ferrari".

Race control quickly reported that the incident would be investigated after the session. That confirmation is now in place: both drivers will have to report to the stewards, and Perez will have to come up with a good story to get away scot-free.

Yuki Tsunoda will also have to appear before the stewards. The RB driver did a practice start which would not be allowed under the regulations. Tsunoda must report at 18:15, Perez and Leclerc will be allowed to tell their story at 18:30 in the stewards' office.
