Canadian Grand Prix circuit Gilles Villeneuve F1 schedule

This is the schedule for the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal

6 June at 13:00

The ninth round of the 2024 Formula 1 season will take place in the heart of Montreal this weekend. The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve has been a staple on the F1 calendar since 1978. The race will start at 19:00 UK time on Sunday June 9.

This will be the last time the Formula 1 circus leaves Europe before the summer break and will start a bit later than the previous two races. Imola and Monaco both started at 14:00 UK time. The Canadian Grand Prix will begin in the evening, at 19:00.

The weekend isn't a sprint and will follow the classic Formula 1 schedule. There will be three practice sessions, two on Friday and one on Saturday, and qualifying, which also takes place on Saturday, setting the grid for Sunday's race. There is no F2 or F3 this weekend in Canada supporting the Formula 1 grid.
