Full results FP2 Canada | Alonso P1 after issue for Verstappen

The second free practice for the Canadian Grand Prix proved to be successful for Fernando Alonso. Max Verstappen was out of action after 20 minutes as smoke came out of his RB20 due to a problem with the ERS.
The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve was still fairly wet when the drivers were allowed onto the track. Verstappen and Sergio Perez came out on yellow tyres, but the Red Bull drivers immediately saw that the track was too wet for mediums. In the first 10 minutes, only Lewis Hamilton and Pierre Gasly managed to record a time. More laps followed after a short break. Alonso topped the timesheet.
