Zhou causes another red flag in third free practice
- Sandy van Wijngaarden
As on Friday, Zhou Guanyu lost control of his car. In doing so, he caused another red flag. The first red flag of the third free practice session.
The Chinese driver lost control of his car as early as Friday due to standing water on the track. As a result, he hit the wall with his rear and caused a red flag in FP1. During the third free practice, he lost control of his car again, but in a remarkable way.
Namely, he simply stepped on the gas and then spun backwards into the wall. Zhou then complained about the car's strange behaviour. His car is very unpredictable and almost impossible to drive. He himself did not understand at all what was happening.
