Internet users react to Perez's Q1 exit in Montreal: 'Sargeant faster!'
- Estéban den Toom
Qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix concluded with George Russell in pole position. The striking thing was that Max Verstappen had exactly the same time during qualifying. The Brit claimed pole position. So Verstappen will have to try from P2. The internet saw a failing Sergio Perez in Montreal, who got no further than P16.

Perez was not renewed for his on track performances. He was renewed because he sells merchandise, people love him and gives no issues to Max.
Call me a hater or whatever, he is not in that Red Bull for his performances and that has been clear since mid 2023
