Pirelli make a big mistake with Lance Stroll
- Estéban den Toom
Lance Stroll has been on the F1 grid for seven years. However, the Canadian has never managed to win a Formula 1 Grand Prix. Tyre supplier Pirelli made a mistake, according to their X-profile.
To celebrate Lance Stroll driving his home race this weekend, Pirelli has put out a tweet to mark the occasion: "Lance Stroll is one of the least-regarded local hero drivers in F1, yet with his three victories and 151 Grand Prix races he has proven that he deserves his place in Formula 1."

Most will already have realised what is going wrong. Lance Stroll, although he has come close a few times, has never won an F1 Grand Prix. However, the Canadian with Belgian roots did manage to make the podium three times. A big mistake by Pirelli, nota bene Formula 1's current tyre supplier.
Mistake acknowledged
Fortunately, the mistake is quickly corrected and followed up by a funny message in which Pirelli blames jet-lag. The time difference between Milan and Montreal is over six hours after all. Fortunately, X used mostly laughed about the incident.
Admin was suffering from jet lag with the Canadian time zone. We meant 3 podiums
