Whether Andrea Kimi Antonelli will soon get a seat in Formula One is still unknown. The FIA have no trouble with a possible promotion for the young talent either, as they have changed their rules, so now a driver under 18 can once again get a Super License. Antonelli for sure got a seat on Mercedes' YouTube channel, where he answered a series of the questions together with Doriane Pin and Alex Powell.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli was short and clear about who his racing idol is in growing up. The Italian youngster answered with no hesitation: "My racing idol was and is still Ayrton Senna." Unfortunately, Antonelli himself was not able to see the Brazilian compete live, as the Brazilian legend tragically passed away 12 years before he was born. Senna has won three world title in his career and 41 Grands Prix.

Whether Antonelli could follow his idol and become a Formula One driver in 2025 remains to be unanswered for the time being, but according the some rumours, Toto Wolff, the CEO and team principal of Mercedes will opt for the young driver to become Lewis Hamilton's replacement.

Antonelli's peers at the Mercedes junior programme also named two world champions as their idols, as Doriane Pin said her idol is Sebastian Vettel, while Alex Powell chose the driver who has won six world titles with the Mercedes team and seven in total, Hamilton.

The Italian also answered his favourite film ever. It is a passion that he shares with Red Bull junior driver Liam Lawson too, as the Italian named Cars.
