Stroll reacts after his FP3 incident with Hamilton
An angry Lance Stroll steered into Lewis Hamilton during FP3. The Canadian had to report to the stewards but miraculously got away with it. Stroll reacted to the moment after qualifying.
At the end of the third free practice session, Stroll caused a stir with an action towards Lewis Hamilton. The Briton hindered Stroll on a fast lap, after which Hamilton pulled over and apologised. However, that was not enough for Stroll. In fact, the latter was so angry that he steered into Hamilton.
This is how Stroll reacted to the incident with Hamilton
"I'm not going to elaborate on it," Stroll said after qualifying when confronted with that action. Asked if he was unhappy with Hamilton's action, he was left with a short and petulant reply: "No. He (Hamilton) said we could have handled it better. It is done."
Stroll was not the only one to get away with a reprimand. Charles Leclerc had to go to the stewards for the same offence, but Leclerc also came away with a reprimand after the incident with Lando Norris. Logan Sargeant will be surprised by that. For hindering, and not hitting, Lance Stroll on a fast lap, the American did get a grid penalty of three places.
