After another highly competitive qualifying session, Lando Norris will start the race from pole position. Max Verstappen will start right behind him in second place. There are also a number of changes to the starting grid after Saturday's session. Read Spain's final starting grid here.

The gap between Norris and Verstappen during qualifying was just 0.020 seconds. So the McLaren and Red Bull seem to be able to achieve equivalent speed. Both Mercedes' men are also well placed. Lewis Hamilton starts from third place and George Russell from fourth.

Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz are the next drivers on the grid. After a strong result in Monaco, the Ferrari's speed seemed to be gone for a while. The Alpine's one lap pace, on the other hand, was amazing. At the beginning of the season, Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon drove at the back of the field. Now they start the race from seventh and eighth respectively.

Sergio Perez's grid penalty he received for unsafe driving in Canada had been known for a while. He will start the race from 11th spot. Logan Sargeant had another three-place grid penalty after qualifying for getting in Lance Stroll's way. He will start the race from P19. His teammate, Alexander Albon, has to start the race from the pit lane as the team made adjustments to his car after parce fermé that were not within the rules.
