Max Verstappen and Lando Norris have spoken to each other after the much-discussed crash at the Red Bull Ring. Lando Norris was asked about whether Verstappen apologised to him or not after the incident, but according to the Briton, that did not happen.

"Yes," was Norris' resounding answer when asked if he has spoken to Verstappen. "He didn't apologise, but he didn't need to. I was frustrated at that moment. I was full of adrenaline and emotion and I said some things that were unnecessary," Norris revealed at the press conference at Silverstone.

Norris looks calm again after a tough week

At the press conference, it seems Norris was able to put the incident to one side. "It was a nasty incident that ended both races for us. It had a big impact on us, all the way to myself. But I don't expect apologies, he doesn't have to," Norris said. "But like I said, we talked about it and we are both happy to be racing again."
