Max Verstappen starts today's British Grand Prix from P4. Despite thus facing an overtaking race, the Dutchman is positive about his chances in the race. The three-time world champion also gives a positive update on the floor of his car, which was damaged during qualifying.

The Red Bull driver told the Drivers Parade ahead of the British Grand Prix that floor damage was no longer an issue. "We luckily had a spare. You don't always have that, but yes, it was good. Today I think it will be quite interesting," he told.

Verstappen has doubts, but is also positive

Verstappen foresees an exciting race, but he has slight doubts about the Red Bull's speed. "I think it will be a really tough battle. The whole weekend, Mercedes and McLaren, they've been on it. For us, it's been a bit more hit and miss, but I'm confident that we can be in the mix."

Nevertheless, he is mostly positive ahead of the Grand Prix at the Silverstone circuit. "I don't know exactly, of course, how quick we're going to be, but yes, hopefully with all the teams, it can be just a good fun race," Verstappen said.
