Oscar Piastri got the laughs with a board radio during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Yuki Tsunoda caused a red flag during Q3 of qualifying. With just over two minutes on the clock, the drivers were lined up to take to the track. Piastri was told there was a VCARB car behind him.

Piastri with hilarious board radio

"I believe Ricciardo is the car behind you. I don't know if it is Ricciardo or Tsunoda, but they're ninth and tenth," the McLaren race engineer told him. But Piastri was sharp and remarked back. " I think Tsunoda is missing a couple of wheels, so I don't think he will be doing many laps," the Australian told his engineer dryly over the board radio.

Piastri will start the main race at the Hungaroring from the second starting spot. Together with Lando Norris, the 23-year-old driver is on the front row of the grid. Piastri will see his teammate start from pole position. Max Verstappen starts from P3 and will immediately try to overtake Norris and Piastri. The race starts at 14.00, and can of course be followed via GPblog through our live blog.
