Sargeant furious after qualifying: 'This doesn't happen with Verstappen'
Logan Sargeant is completely fed up with the fact that he rarely gets space from other drivers in qualifying. According to the American, only Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton get space from other drivers, where nobody would move aside for him.
Sargeant qualified fourteenth and with that time was shortly behind his teammate, who finished thirteenth in the session at the Hungaroring. A reason to be in a good mood after qualifying, but nothing seemed less true when Sargeant spoke to the press, including GPblog, after qualifying in Hungary.

''I think firstly, I was really happy with my first lap when it was spinning, not so happy with the next one. But an exceptional job by the team to get the car turned around and most importantly it felt in perfect condition. Disappointed with Q2 though because I know we had more in it, and a lot more. We all know how to play the game. I have to go through about eight cars through the lap, and everyone waits a couple of corners too long to get out of the way. I don't personally do that, but it sets a precedent going forward. Maybe I need to start. If people are going to ruin my lap, I'll ruin theirs."
According to Sargeant, there are only a few drivers who are left ahead in time. ''It is a bit of respect, I think. You see someone like Max Lewis who have all the success, and you might treat them a little bit better. But I try to treat everyone the same, you know. I'm just disappointed because I'm disappointed for myself and everyone on the team because we've done a good job this weekend. We've had more in the car. It's disappointing not to get everything out of it for something that's not in mine or their control."
