Norris auctions special Hungarian GP helmet off McLaren
6 August at 18:00

A year after Lando Norris finished second at the Hungarian GP and broke Max Verstappen's trophy on the podium, the British driver linked up with the Herend Porcelain Manufactory to create a special helmet for this year's race at the Hungaroring. Norris is now auctioning his helmet off.

Lando Norris took pole position, and finished second behind Oscar Piastri at the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix. The British driver had to return P1 to Piastri that weekend, after McLaren decided to undercut the Australian with Norris himself.

The helmet of the current number two in the world championship standings is now available to bid on at F1 Authentics. It was also signed by the one-time Grand Prix winner himself. One can bid on this memoribilia until 10 PM this evening on Tuesday. "We have raised an amazing £42,500 for two incredible charities with just 12 hours to go! Get your final bids in," Norris' caption writes on Instagram.
