Red Bull bring new upgrade in Baku: New floor for Verstappen and Perez

13 September at 08:35

Could this help Red Bull Racing fix their issues at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix? The Austrians are introducing a new floor in Baku, according to the list of upgrades published by the FIA.

The brief states that the Austrian team have "subtly revised by locally raising or lowering the surfaces". The FIA also reports what the update should bring about for the cars of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez: "Changes applied to improve the pressure gradients along the floor to improve the flow locally and downstream in all conditions." That is the only update the team have brought to Azerbaijan.

On the other hand, not many teams arrived with updates to this weekend. Only Aston Martin and Visa Cash App RB have brought changes. Aston Martin have a change in terms of local load, "the trim to the bottom edge of the lower deflector has been revised." At VCARB, there is a new front wing, specifically added for the Baku City Circuit.
