Max Verstappen has been given a community service penalty by the FIA for using the word 'f***ed' during the press conference in Singapore. Lewis Hamilton advised the Dutchman not to conduct this community service. GPblog's statement, therefore, reads, 'Verstappen should not carry out his FIA community service'. Vote in the poll and discuss this statement in the comments.

In Azerbaijan, Max Verstappen struggled to control his Red Bull. He encountered a problem with the car's balance. During the press conference in Singapore on Thursday, he described the balance of his car in Baku as "f***ed."

The timing of this was very bad, as the FIA president, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, had just appealed, calling for less swearing in Formula 1. Therefore, action was taken on Verstappen's language. The Dutchman had to visit the stewards and was eventually given a community service penalty.

Should Verstappen complete his community service or not?

Verstappen himself has expressed several times that he thinks it is a ridiculous punishment, especially since it was not directed at a person. Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton also spoke out about it. Both disagreed with the penalty and the seven-time World Champion told Verstappen not to carry out the penalty.

In protest at his penalty, the three-time world champion refused to give detailed answers in the post-qualifying press conference. He did speak to the press outside the venue, where he reiterated that he considers the decision ridiculous. He did not comment on whether he would actually complete the community service.

What do you guys think? Should Verstappen carry out his community service or not? Respond to the poll and join the discussion on this statement below the article in the comments.
