Lando Norris has won his third Grand Prix in Singapore, and he did so by quite a margin. The Briton finished the Grand Prix 20 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen. The dominant win came following much talk about McLaren's flexi-wing concept. Norris reacted to the issues brought up with his team's design after his win in Singapore.

McLaren have been demanded by the FIA to change their rear wing following the Azerbaijan GP. Previously, McLaren and Mercedes were both investigated for using flexing front wings, but a so-called 'mini DRS' could be also seen on video footage in Baku on McLaren's rear wing.

"We've not changed anything on the car from here to last weekend or the weekend before. We've even had to make tweaks to some of our wings and things that people have complained about. But we still had a great weekend, and probably one of our most dominant weekends here, so I don’t think that's made the difference. The car's been mega for a good amount of time," Norris said in Singapore.

He added: "I've not been able to come out on top for quite a few of them when I feel like I had the pace and I had the ability to do so, some of that down to being my own fault and and not executing things well enough, so I've paid the price for not doing a good enough job at times. But when I lead after turn one and things are a bit more straightforward."

Norris' win in Singapore now means he trails Max Verstappen by 52 points in the drivers' championship with six weekends to go.
